Happy Mother's Day! And Updates

This coming Sunday, May 8, 2022, is Mother’s Day! Shout out to all the Mom’s of all ages, and also to the Mother’s of Israel who may or may not have biological children! We honor you and bless you In The Name Of Jesus! For this blog post I wanted to share my current mothering experience, and what’s coming up next for me.

First, at the beginning of last week, my son rented an apartment closer to his work and is in the process of moving his things out. On the one hand, I’m a bit sad that he’s leaving. On the other hand, however, I’m very excited for him making this big step in his life, and I’m proud of him. It’s been fun watching him design his studio apartment and work out all the challenges that comes with moving. Mostly, I feel good about the opportunities that will arise with this new chapter in our lives. Since he’s only moving an hour away, we’ll be able to see each other often, and continue to grow our relationship in new ways.

As a mother of two adult children, I’ve enjoyed every stage of their lives. Each year has offered new experiences that have created mostly positive memories I’ll cherish for eternity. So, I know this move for JJ will simply add to my book of “life and it more abundantly” (John 10:10) as we start writing the next chapter.

May all mother’s be reminded and encouraged this Mother’s Day by God’s beautiful promise in Proverbs 22:6. “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Mom’s, may you cling to this precious truth when you face those days that stretch you to the max. As you do, you will feel blessed, unburdened, and more confident to move forward and bless your family and others.

Second, as I’m rounding out my blogging year, I will be taking a sabbatical. I have done this the past couple of years and the break helps me from getting burnout, and to keep fueling my passion for sharing the truth. We’ll be starting back up again Friday, June 24, 2022 to kick off the new blog year by celebrating our fifth blogiversary which is June 28, 2022, the date of my first post!

In the meantime, blessings to all my readers. Remember you are blessed to bless In Jesus Name! Go forth bold, blessed, and brilliant! Thank you for continuing to share the weekly posts, and your donations are much appreciated! Please subscribe and comment below. I look forward to hearing from you. Blessings and love to you all!
