Happy New Year!

Let’s face it, 2021 turned out to be a year of disconnect mostly due to the pandemic craziness. Mask and vaccine mandates turned friends into enemies and The State against common sense thinkers and true science. It came to my attention a couple of months ago, that even long time Christian friends stopped talking with each other due to their differences of opinion regarding the mandates. Really?! As believers in the spirit realm, we know that something much more sinister is trying to bring division. However, the word I’ve been receiving for 2022 is connectivity.

The antidote for lies is truth, and the antidote for disconnection is connection. The definition for connectivity is “the state or extent of being connected or interconnected.” I’m thrilled and proud that this blog is based on this concept. The Creation Sabbath of Genesis 2 is a day of connection with God, family, and others, and Ephesians 4 is all about the connection of the Body of Christ and how to live life. In the Garden of Eden, Jesus told Adam that it wasn’t good for him to be alone. Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.” Genesis 2:18

There are some people that like to be alone for long periods of time. I’m a home body and enjoy my time alone, but not for too long. Generally speaking, humans are social beings. God obviously created us that way, to be a synergistic circle of blessing. “A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:12

The tyrannical events of this past year around the world really brought out the importance of connectivity more than ever. We need to encourage each other in difficult times. This verse came to my mind often this past year when I heard horrific stories of US and Canadian Pastors and churches being sued, jailed, and shut down. “Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. 25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.” Hebrews 10:24-25

So, be creative in how you meet with other like minded believers. Make it a goal this new year to be connected and networked in ways you haven’t been before. Ask God for ideas of how you can be a conduit of connectivity wherever you are living life - home, work, school, store, events, etc.

May your divine appointments and connections in 2022 be a circle of blessing In Jesus Name! Go forth bold, blessed, and brilliant in the power of the Holy Spirit! Happy New Year! Thank you for sharing, subscribing, and commenting below.
