Joy To The World! 4/4

It’s Christmas Eve and we’ve reached our fourth and final post of our “Joy To The World” series. (Click here for Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3). With the great controversy between Christ and Satan happening all around us, it’s important to focus on the beauty of the season. That’s why we’ve listened to this glorious song repeatedly, each with a different perspective. Tomorrow is a special Christmas as we’re celebrating Jesus’ birth on Sabbath, the One who truly brought “Joy To The World”! Click on the video below to hear a thrilling acapella “Joy To The World/For Unto Us A Child Is Born” medley of this song by Voctave.

“For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Isaiah 9:6

Because Christmas is on Sabbath, we’ll be celebrating a bit differently, but we’re looking forward to a special day nonetheless. We’re going to watch a great bible study by Dr. Lance Wallnau on the birth of Jesus for our home church time. You can watch that by clicking on the second video below. He brings some interesting insights surrounding this historic event that I had not heard of before and I think you’ll enjoy hearing them as well.

In addition, we’re having a “Happy Birthday Jesus” birthday party. We’re setting up our dining table with all kinds of tasty Christmas delights, including a birthday cake and candles! Most importantly, we’re bringing our gifts of praise and thanksgiving as we honor this baby who is now “The Prince of Peace.”

No matter how you celebrate Christmas with your own unique family traditions, may you experience the joy that God brought to this world. May you know in a new way this wonderful counselor, this mighty God who is the everlasting Father, this Prince of Peace. May His light of truth shine on you and bless you, and may it radiate out from you to bless others In Jesus Name!

Now go forth bold, blessed, and brilliant knowing that you are loved and encompassed by the Prince of Peace. Merry Christmas! Thank you for sharing, subscribing, and commenting below.
