Christian Healthcare Sharing
With millions of people losing their jobs due to COVID-19, and consequently losing their health insurance benefits, I thought this information could be helpful for those looking for affordable healthcare. I’ve known about these programs for many years, but have not needed them because my husband’s health insurance program with his work has always been a more viable option. So even though I’m not personally familiar with these programs, I do believe they could be a great alternative for some of you.
In the video below, the Christian couple has participated with Medi-Share for 9 years, at the time of the video, and they share their pros and cons of this plan. You can see other reviews on YouTube to compare these programs, as well as, additional similar non-profits. However, from what I’ve read and watched, it seems that Medi-Share and Samaritan Ministries have the best reviews of the ones being offered. I know for sure that these programs are offered in the USA, but I’m not sure about other countries. For my international readers, you could contact the ministries directly to find out more. For me, these programs fit perfectly into the Philanthropic Capitalist paradigm of Eph 4:28, “…use your hands for good hard work, and then give generously to others in need.” Likewise, Galatians 6:2 says, “Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. As we grow in our understanding of how to rule over sickness and disease like Jesus did, I think it’s important to take a multipronged approach against illness. We need to live a physically healthy lifestyle, subscribe to healthcare plans that help us and others, pursue healing for our mind, will and emotions - our soul, and learn to take authority over the principalities and powers that bring death to our bodies.
During this challenging time while everyone is dealing with this horrific global pandemic, let me encourage you with Jesus’ words. “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 May you NOT be afraid. Rather, may you have peace, so that you will have health and be blessed to be a blessing In Jesus Name! Go forth bold, blessed, and brilliant! Subscribe and comment below.
