Generational Family Wealth

Earlier this week, a friend of mine sent me this webinar because she really liked it and thought that I would enjoy it too. She knows I love seeing how families can work and flow together when it comes to money, as I think God intended. After watching the video below, I knew I wanted to share it with my readers. Even though there are a couple of technical glitches, I think you will find the information, stories, and concepts inspirational. I know I want to take action with my own family using some of these suggestions. Click on the video below and check it out.

So, what exactly is the video all about? Tom Rogerson and Craig Hill discuss how to sustain generational family wealth. Rogerson shares stories of how the Rothchild family, who own a banking empire, and the Green family, who own Hobby Lobby, handle the money in their families. A quote from Rogerson’s Family Legacy Website says, “Most families spend countless hours and dollars, preparing their money for their family. Few families spend any time preparing their family for the money.” Family Legacy Website I think this is a powerful statement, and it reminds me to be intentional with preparing my family. Craig Hill also has multiple resources for families at his website Family Foundations.

You and I don’t have the same amount of assets as these two very wealthy families. However, the principals that Tom Rogerson and Craig Hill share are applicable to families at every financial level.. Furthermore, I think that this discussion is an expansion of what God says in Proverbs 13:22. “A good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children, but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous.” You want to know how to do that? Start by watching the video.

“But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.” Deut. 8:18 Therefore, be blessed and be a blessing In Jesus Name!
