Hello! Hello! Hello! We’re back! Thank you to all my readers for your ongoing support! We’ve had a wonderful Sabbatical traveling the western parts of the USA, namely Phoenix, AZ, Seattle, WA and Spokane Valley, WA. We’re also grateful for the other family events and reunions closer to home. Finally, we’re excited to be celebrating our 2nd blogiversary!! Check out the new changes below.

1. On our west coast trip, we enjoyed the breathtaking views of the Grand Canyon, the vastness of the Pacific ocean at Ocean Shores, WA, the gorgeous blown glass at the Chihuly Garden and Glass Exhibit located at the base of the Space Needle in Seattle, WA. Of course, looking out from the top of the Space Needle the views were amazing. With all the trauma around the world, it did my heart good to see the speechless wonder of God’s creation. Nature is so rejuvenating!

Most importantly, we were grateful to see and be able to spend time with family, which included an 80 year old grandmother, an 87 year old great aunt, cousins, brothers and sisters and their families. The trip turned out to be even more meaningful and blessed than we expected.

2. Happy 4th of July! We hope you had a wonderful July 4th celebration as well!! We were blessed to be able to enjoy a great fireworks display on Silver Beach in St. Joseph, MI. Seeing the lights of the boats on the water, the stars in the sky, and the fireworks explosions turned out to be quite a spectacular view. I’m so grateful to be an American citizen and enjoy the hard fought freedoms that so many have died and sacrificed for. Happy 243rd birthday America!

3. Speaking of celebrations, the end of June, 2019 marked our 2nd blogiversary!!! Thanks again to all of my readers and to those who have encouraged and supported me this past year. I’m continually amazed that my blog has been viewed by readers from all around the world. At last count, it was more than 70 countries with thousands of page views. My blog is relatively small compared to others. However, as it continues to grow, I’m looking forward to another great year, and pray that it blesses many people wherever they live!

4. Now that the blog is filled with great content with hours and hours of reading, I’ve decided to post once a week on Friday mornings with at least one blog and maybe more. So, please subscribe if you don’t want to miss anything!

5. NEW THIS POST……..you can now make comments directly at the bottom of each blog. I’d love to hear what you’d like me to talk about, and what posts have really changed your life or helped you in some way. Please share your favorite blogs with others on your social media platforms so others can be encouraged as well.

In conclusion, I echo Paul’s thoughts in Phil 1:3-6, “3 Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. 4 Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy, 5 for you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now. 6 And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” So be blessed and be a blessing In Jesus Name Amen!
