Season's Greetings!

Today’s post is a quick hello to wish everyone season’s greetings! I hope and pray that your holidays have been, and will continue to be memorable while celebrating with family and friends. Starting with Thanksgiving right through to New Year’s day, I love the joyful and celebratory spirit in the air.

Beginning with Thanksgiving, we collectively thank God for His blessings which opens the way for the joyful spirit. In the first video below, you’ll learn the truth about how Thanksgiving was actually established here in the US. This truth was new to me, but I found it amazing and I am grateful to the founders of this country. “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever…..” Psalm 136

Right after Thanksgiving the Christmas festivities are officially in full swing and what a beautiful time of the year. The food, decorations, celebrations, and music lift our hearts as we think about the Reason for the Season, baby Jesus. Luke 2 As a musician, I especially enjoy the music of the holidays. So, once again I’m sharing our Christmas CD, via YouTube, that we recorded over 20 years ago. I can’t believe it’s been that long, but the songs are still fun to sing and I hope you enjoy them.

As time gets closer for Jesus’ return and tribulations surround us, may you remember this new year to continually praise the Lord, and constantly speak His praises.
