Fully Alive!
Today’s post has been a bit delayed due to internet problems last night. However, there is breaking news that needs to be shared for those living in the USA. In addition, with all the upheaval in our country and around the world, it’s good to take time to enjoy a meaningful laugh.
First, let’s start with the breaking news. Beginning Nov. 8-11, 2021 there will be a four day nationwide strike called #AXEtheVAX. Workers across the country will be rallying against employers and governments that are mandating the COVID injections or lose your job. For more detailed information go to The Highwire with Del Bigtree and start at time stamp 2:16:00 on “Episode 240: A Strike At The Heart”. Or, you can text “Freedom” to 53445, or you can search online #AXEtheVAX.
You will want to have extra cash on hand for food, gas, and essential supplies in case something happens where you can’t use your debit/credit cards. Also, make sure you have enough pantry items that you and your family can be sustained for the next couple of weeks or months, or however long it will take to get through this disruption. We’re thankful for and support those who are standing up to tyranny!
Even though we are encouraged to see positive shifts in the political realm with the Virginia election results and employee protests, the fight is still waging. During these times, it’s important to enjoy a meaningful laugh to sustain our mental and emotional health. In the video below, Ken Davis’ “Fully Alive” - Full Standup Comedy Special, gives us that comedy relief.
Often times comedy is silly, or crude. However, in this special Ken shares his life experiences in a way that is both humorous and thought provoking. As a gifted speaker, he has the ability to engage everyone from teenagers to the seasoned citizens. I hope you will be refreshed by his presentation.
