"Charmed By Darkness" Book/Docudrama Review
As promised in my last post, “Sabbath vs. the Luceiferian Spirit”, here is my review of the book and docudrama “Charmed By Darkness”. This story is an autobiography of how Roger J. Morneau got into demon worship, and back out into living a life for Christ as a powerful prayer warrior. It is a riveting account of how the spirit realm, God and Satan’s kingdoms, are both working to persuade each of us into their kingdom. The good news is that at the name of Jesus demons tremble and flee (100 verses regarding The Name of Jesus Demons Tremble). Roger’s life is evidence that this good news is absolutely true!
“‘One thing in particular the high priest wants to make you aware of, no one has ever gotten out of our secret society alive. You and I were brought into it by the special workings of the spirits, and we are to be in subjection to them, not they to us.’ With these words Roger’s friend tried to convince him to remain within the camp of the prince of darkness - but Roger had caught a glimmer of Light and was determined to learn more. This gripping account of Roger Morneau’s trip into the supernatural provides a glimpse into a world that few ever see: a secret world of deception and demon worship. Now, for the first time, the unabridged story has been released.” (From the back cover of the book.)
Three major truths Roger learned while engaging in and coming out of this secret society. First, he experienced the fact that demons hate the name of Jesus because of His death and resurrection. Second, he was informed that the “master” (aka Satan) hates seventh day Sabbath keepers which had been mentioned more than once at their “praise” services and meetings.
Third, he discovered that the dead are just dead. They are not in purgatory or burning in an everlasting hell. Nor are they in heaven wafting around. When Roger read Psalm 115:17, “The dead don’t praise the Lord, nor do those who go down to silence,” he was greatly relieved. He and his whole ancestry grew up devote Catholic and this teaching made him hate God and the church, especially after his mother passed away when he was a young boy. Roger realized that God truly is a loving God, and that the immortality of the soul teaching has been one of Satan’s most powerful deceptions throughout history. One example is the story of Saul and the Witch of Endor (1 Sam 28). The demon spirits felt quite triumphant that the CEO of Israel bowed down to them.
There were several other interesting facts that Roger learned from the satanist priest. The priest told Roger how Stonehenge came about, what Satan and his chief counselors look like, and how spirits work through people and things like a typewriter. Roger saw first hand the type of people that were in this cult, and what kind of music they sang during their worship services.
The whole story is insightful and fascinating. It has brought me great encouragement and knowledge of how to pray God’s word for answered prayers. There are multiple ways to pursue the story for yourself. You can read the book which is available on Amazon. You can watch the docudrama for free if you have Amazon Prime, which was just released to the internet June 15, 2020. Or, you can go to the producer of the docudrama at Lifestreams Media to purchase both the book and docudrama, as well as, other books by Roger Morneau.
Finally, you can click on the videos below. The first one is a trailer for the docudrama, and the second is a three hour interview with Roger. It’s an old recording, but I share this one because Dan Houghton’s brother Robin lead my husband Bill back to God.
Matthew 24:24 says, “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” May you hear the voice of Jesus so that you will know the truth and not be deceived, then you will be blessed and be a blessing In Jesus Name!
