1000's Coming To Jesus
It’s now been a little more than a month ago that President Trump declared a national emergency due to COVID-19. Wow, what jolting changes have taken place in that relatively short time frame! Many lives have been dramatically and negatively affected during this hour of trial, and the media bombards us 24/7 with the bad news. So, in an effort to encourage others, today’s blog is one of “Good News”.
At the beginning of this chaos, I asked the Lord what He thought about the pandemic. His answer rather surprised me. I thought that He would be sad that so many people were suffering and dying Rather, He said, “I’m very happy that many people are searching for me and wanting to know me better.” “But what about all the people that are suffering and dying?”, I asked. He simply reminded me that His perspective is very different than mine. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9
Of course God cares for His children very much, but more than anything He longs for them to come to Him. He wants so much to be in relationship with us. How can we forget John 3:16-17? “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.” Living on a sinful planet bad things happen to everybody. However, with God, bad things can turn into opportunities of His healing and blessing.
So, when Breaking Christian News reported this story a couple of days ago about Pastor Greg Laurie, I understood better what Father God was saying to me. The first part of the article is as follows:
“Greg Laurie, pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California, is seeing "God work" amid the ongoing novel coronavirus crisis, revealing his belief that "people are listening" and finding eternal truth amid the ashes of chaos.
Laurie and his church made headlines last week after President Donald Trump sent a tweet encouraging people to stream Laurie's Palm Sunday service. Harvest typically attracts a vibrant virtual audience of tens of thousands of viewers, but Trump's tweet drove that pool to a whopping 1.3 million. The end result: 11,207 people deciding to become Christians.” (Read More)
Now that’s “Good News”. I’ve heard many other stories of wonderful things happening as well, like bibles and bible related products selling like hot cakes, celebrities speaking out for God, and other’s experiencing healing and financial favor in the midst of death and economic collapse. If you’re suffering right now, come to Jesus for the answers. With God, there are no problems only possibilities. He died for you to save you now and for eternity. “And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.” Revelation 22:17
Today, may you hear the Spirit and come to Him to learn the truth that will set you free. You will be blessed and be a blessing In Jesus Name! Be bold, blessed, and brilliant! Subscribe and comment below.
