Angelic Force Field
For the past couple of weeks, people around the globe have been freaked out about the Coronavirus. Media outlets of all kinds have discussed at length this current pandemic. However, I want to encourage you to not be afraid. Scripture tells us that bad things will happen on earth but nothing can separate us from the love of God. Romans 8:31-39 In the video below, Dr. Lance has a biblical word that I hope you find encouraging in what otherwise could be a fearful time.
For me when times get uncertain, I turn to Psalm 34 and Psalm 91. Both chapters reveal how God protects us. For example, Psalm 34:7 says, “On every side, the Lord’s messenger protects those who honor God; and he delivers them.” Praise God for His angelic force field!
What’s an angelic force field? Here’s a visual that may help. One of my favorite movies is The Incredibles because I love the music and I think the story is entertaining. If you haven’t seen it, it’s about a family of superheros, each one with a different ability. The daughter, Violet, has the power to put up a force field that protects her and her family from all types of attacks. Similarly, I believe we too can have a force field. Not one like Violet’s, but of angels that protect us when we pray and believe the scriptures.
Psalm 91 is also full of promises of protection. So when you hear reports about the Coronavirus, do not fear. Instead, remember these verses. “For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.” Psalm 91:3-4
Just like Violet, who had to practice and believe in her ability, we too need to practice and build our faith in who we are in Christ Jesus to put up our force field. Jesus died and rose to give us the power and right to protect ourselves from the attacks of the devil, and to live in an angelic force field. It’s good news that can free us from fear, if we choose.
May you live in God’s feathers and face life’s fears with the confidence that “His faithful promises are your armor and protection.” Now that’s a blessing we can enjoy and bless others with as well In Jesus Name! God forth bold, blessed and brilliant! Subscribe and comment below.
