Why Do We Get Sick?
In last week’s blog titled R.E.C.O.M.P.U.T.I.N.G., Dr. Bruce Lipton talked about how to reprogram your subconscious. If you haven’t read it, I would really encourage you to view it. Today’s blog is a second video by Dr. Lipton where he scientifically shows how healing works at the cellular level.
Again, Dr. Lipton is a molecular biologist with a secular worldview, but I think you’ll find his scientific experiments to be insightful and inspirational. We are truly fearfully and wonderfully made, and I was excited to share his revelation with you. I love it when modern day science confirms ancient Scripture!
Basically, in the video below, Dr. Lipton presents the evidence that reducing stress alone is not enough to have vibrant health. In addition to rest for healthy bodies, Dr. Lipton says, “What we need is more love, more life and happiness". Does this statement remind you of any scriptures? How about “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.” Proverbs 17:22 Or, Nehemiah 8:10 which says, “And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!” To me this means that even when I am going through sad and bad times, I am to celebrate God’s goodness because the joy of the Lord is my strength. What a wonderful promise! Look for God’s upgrades!
May you find love, life and happiness in your relationship with God and others. May the joy of the Lord bring cheerfulness to your heart today, so that you will be healthy in your body, mind and spirit, and be abundantly blessed to be a blessing In Jesus Name Amen!
