The Prophets - Part 2/2
In my last post, The Prophets - Part 1/2, I shared a video that helped to describe the role of an Old Testament prophet. If you haven’t watched that yet, click on that post so you have a better framework of understanding of the prophetic gift. In this post, I share a video of what a modern day prophet looks like. I do not share this because of the man, but because of the messages he’s received and given that could be important for you to know.
To be totally honest, this video took me outside my comfort zone and so be forewarned that you may be uncomfortable as well. However, I felt it was important to share the video with my readers for educational purposes. We need to grow up in our understanding of what God is doing. It may not look like what we grew up with, but we need to practice “testing all things and holding fast to what is good.”
“19 Do not stifle the Holy Spirit. 20 Do not scoff at prophecies, 21 but test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good. 22 Stay away from every kind of evil.” 1 Thess 5:19-22
The video below is an overview of some of the prophecies given by the late Prophet Kim Clement. His death, due to complications of pneumonia, was announced November 24, 2016, just a couple of weeks after witnessing one of his major prophecies being fulfilled, which was the election of President Trump, November 8, 2016.
Clement is one of the most accurate prophets in recent times. I think it’s because his online church worshiped on and honored God on the Sabbath for decades, even though the church website doesn’t say anything about keeping Sabbath. On the other hand, they are big supporters of Israel and that may be why the Saturday services. Nonetheless, you can click here for a list of his top 10 prophecies fulfilled.
It feels strange for me to watch Kim because I did not grow up with the belief in “living” prophets. But now, it thrills my soul to see God’s messages being given and His word being played out in real time. I believe God’s word that says, “Indeed, the Sovereign Lord never does anything until he reveals his plans to his servants the prophets.” Amos 3:7
The truth is that God wants all of us to prophesy, maybe not at Kim Clement’s level, but even so on a regular basis. “I wish you could all speak in tongues, but even more I wish you could all prophesy. For prophecy is greater than speaking in tongues, unless someone interprets what you are saying so that the whole church will be strengthened.” 1 Cor 14:5
May these prophecies strengthen and encourage you today as you test what is said, so that you will be blessed and be a blessing In Jesus Name!
