The Bible And Technology

Almost everyday we read about the tech giants, Google, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc. manipulating and censoring free speech, especially Christian and conservative voices. It’s unfair and tiresome. So today, I thought I would share a positive report about how technology is expanding the Good News of the bible. God’s word will NEVER be silenced! “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.” John 1:5

In fact, translating God’s word has become faster and easier through new software. Breaking Christian News posted the following: "To put this in perspective, it took 67 years to complete the first 500 [translation of the Bible by Wycliffe], and the second 500 took only 17 years. It’s exciting to me that many people groups are hearing and reading God’s word in their own language, some for the first time. Little did the bible writers know that a cell phone would be the way God’s word would reach the whole world. “And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come.” Matt 24:14

As bad and fake news bombards us everyday, remember that the good news of God’s word has prevailed and will continue to prevail, and all nations will hear it. Jesus is King and He is winning! Look for the truth that sets you free and watch for God’s upgrades, as you use your cell phone to read God’s word in your language.
