Wild At Heart

The other night my niece called me on the phone. We hadn’t talked in quite some time. She lives on the other side of the country and we don’t get to see each other very often. So, it was really good to chat with her and catch up.

During our conversation she asked me if I knew of John Eldredge. Over the last 20 years I’ve listened to many teachers and the name sounded familiar, but honestly I’d forgotten about him. And, as I love to do, I went to YouTube to find out more. Discovering and watching the video below blessed me so much, that I wanted to share it with you.

This video is mostly for my guy readers. John has a passion to restore men’s hearts to fulfill their God given purpose. However, as a woman, I found it inspiring as well. He has some wonderful insights that will help you and your spouse grow individually, and together as a couple. My hope is that this interview will awaken your spirit (men) to feel affirmed in your masculinity, and light a fuse to propel you forward to your highest spiritual calling.

Today we are in a time of great gender confusion. However, at creation God was very clear about gender. “26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” Genesis 1:26-27

Isn’t it awesome that both males and females reflect the image of God. May you become all that God created you to be, so that you will be blessed and be a blessing In Jesus Name!
