Who am I? Why am I here? What am I suppose to be doing? These questions, more than ever, stir up frustration within people all over the world. In a world of tragedy and insanity many wonder who they are, what role do they play, and what is their true identity. As Christians we know our identity is found in God as His Sons and daughters. Romans 8:12-17 says,

“12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. 13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” 16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.”

Listening to this two part series, Part 1 - A Blueprint for Identity, and Part 2 - The Perfect You, you will begin to understand the science of identity, and how our identity is tied with our hard wiring for love. As you learn to see and love yourself as God has created you, you will be better equipped to love your neighbor as you love yourself (Mark 12:29-31), bringing spiritual unity to yourself, with God, and with others.
