One Body, One Spirit, One Hope, One Faith, One God

"I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with long suffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." Ephesians 4:1-6

Wouldn't it be awesome if everyone would think this way!!  That WOULD BE heaven!  I look forward to that day here on earth, as it is in heaven.  After all isn't that Jesus' prayer in John 17:20, 21, “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. 21 I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.

Can believers be one with so many different doctrines and mindsets?   I believe they can and will be by the power of the Holy Spirit, the love of Father God, and the sound mind of Christ Jesus.  As each believer becomes one with God, the natural outcome will be to become one Body, one Spirit, one Hope, One Faith, and worship One God.

Oneness does NOT depend on the outward appearances of ethnicity, gender, or socioeconomic status. Jesus said, in 1 Sam 16:7, "People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” I'll even go so far as to say that you don't even need to have the same doctrinal beliefs to have oneness, like Sabbath and Sunday worship.  Why, because it is a oneness of Holy Spirit that matters!  I've had the privilege of worshiping with all kinds of believers all over the world, and yes even some "non-believers", and felt the presence of the Lord.  Those experiences were truly heaven on earth.  I look forward to many more!

May you embrace the Oneness of God so completely today, that you have no fear of the division that Satan's kingdom manifests.  May you experience God's blessings of oneness and pass that blessing to others In Jesus Name!
