Beauty For Ashes

If you’re like me, you could use something beautiful to look at versus watching America’s freedoms and values burn down around us, and the cold winds blow. Why didn’t God intervene in the election? Because, He died for freedom of choice. Even though Trump was His plan, He honored the political elites choice to ignore We The People, and the truth of the election fraud, and allowed Biden to become President. However, God promises beauty for ashes, and today’s post focuses on the beautiful cottage garden designs of Jack Barnwell on Mackinac Island in Michigan (see video below).

Jack’s YouTube channel has been enjoyable for me because I love visiting Mackinac Island, especially during the Lilac Festival in June. It’s a beautiful place and I highly recommend going if you haven’t been there. It is a setting where you can step back in time and experience a peaceful pace.

Also, another little fun flower game I’ve been enjoying is the Happy Color - Color by Number App. As a kid, I loved paint by number paints. Now, there’s no mess and you can enjoy it anywhere on your cell phone!

Of course, we need to continue to be vigilant in prayer and stand for the truth knowing that faith is the victory! But it is also good for our souls to take a breather and observe the beauty in nature. Isaiah’s prophesy about Jesus is just what we need right now in the Body of Christ.

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
3 To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified…For as the earth brings forth its bud,
As the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth,
So the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations. ”

Isaiah 61:1-3, 11

What are you planting in the garden of the Lord that will glorify Him physically, mentally, and spiritually? Right now we can’t plant in the snow physically, but we can plant this verse in our minds and hearts. We can look for what God is doing and plant our resources there - our time, talents, energy, finances. When we do, no matter the destruction around us, we will be blessed and be a blessing In Jesus Name! So, go forth more bold, more blessed, and more brilliant than ever! Subscribe and comment below.
