Faith Is The Victory!
Well, the past few days have certainly been eventful with the shame Biden/Harris inauguration and Trump leaving the White House. It was not what I wanted to see. To be honest, it felt like a kick in the gut in the natural. I had to realign myself in the word of the Lord because I know that faith is the victory and Jesus is still King!
God is still on His throne, He knows what He’s doing, and His timing is not our timing! God put on my heart the word VICTORY back in 2016 and again as the word for 2021. He hasn’t told me any differently since and I continue to hold on to that word.
However, many have been in despair and getting angry at the prophets because things haven’t happened as we may have imagined they should. But, I know God is the God of victory and when has God ever done anything like we thought! I believe He’s doing things behind the scenes and we need to wait until He’s ready to reveal all the truth.
I still believe the prophets or at least refuse to scoff at their prophecies (1 Thess. 5:19-22) because I want the reward of the prophets (Matt. 10:41). It’s ok to test and see because God’s ways and thoughts have such a universal perspective compared to our microscopic perspective. But while you’re testing, continue to stand in faith because faith is the victory!
“For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. 5 And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.” 1 John 5:4-5
If you need a shot of encouragement like I’ve needed, I’ve been blessed by the YouTube channels Elijah Streams and Dutch Sheets Give Him 15 prayer times. The interviews and prayers have given me hope, and have helped me to refocus on what God is doing.
In closing, I’ve been singing the old hymn Faith Is The Victory this past week that has refreshed my soul. The chorus is simple seen in the pic below with the sheet music. “Faith is the victory, faith is the victory, oh glorious victory, that overcomes the world.” Use this song or listen to a song that refreshes your soul too. Music is audible emotion and is a wonderful way to bring joy to our hearts.
