Truth Brings Freedom
As I reviewed my blogs over the past few months, I noticed that we’ve been doing a lot of celebrating, which is great. Tomorrow, the 4th of July, the birthday of our nation, is another day of celebrating. However, I don’t feel like celebrating when I see the division of friends and families, destruction of our cities, and the death of livelihoods, young people, and police officers over opposing ideologies. It’s been sickening to watch! Yet, as I learn the truth, it releases my fears and helps me receive The Peace that passes understanding, one of the Fruits of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23. Here are three lies and three truths that are present in our current culture today. I pray the truths will set you free too, and bring unity and peace to your life.
1. COVID-19, Mandatory Masking and Vaccines - The Lie: COVID-19 is going to kill us all unless we wear masks and get vaccines.
The Truth: The survival rate of COVID-19 is more than 99%. Masks are not effective for this virus, (read the mask packaging labels), and vaccines for corona viruses thus far have been very deadly. Please do your own research instead of listening to corporate media. Start by going to The Highwire with Del Bigtree on YouTube and start with this video “Anti-maskers, right or selfish?”.

2. Racism in America - The Lie: America is “systemically racist”, whites have “white privilege”, and cops are out to kill blacks, as the Black Lives Matter organization promotes.
The Truth: According to the bible, all lives matter. Jesus died for everyone. John 3:16,17 The BLM founders have declared themselves as Marxists, which is communism, the deadliest political ideology known to man. No matter what color you are, privilege comes with making good choices.
If America is systemically racist (having laws that oppress people of color), how did Obama become POTUS, and entertainers like Oprah, JZ, and Beyonce, black sports stars, black politicians, black corporate CEOs etc. become multi-millionaires and hold positions of power? Blacks are only 13% of the population in the US so obviously a lot of American white people have supported them. The YouTube channel PragerU has many great videos on this topic including “Black Live Matter is a Marxist Movement”.
3. America is Evil - The Lie: America needs to be torn down and rebuilt because it has been evil from it’s founding.
The Truth: America with all it’s faults, has blessed the world by helping to win wars, by producing inventions, by discovering medical breakthroughs, by giving financial aid, and by providing freedom and opportunity for all who come here legally. So, the next time you hear one of these lies, you will know how to speak the truth. Be brave and do as the scripture says, “Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. 4 For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. 5 There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all, in all, and living through all.” Eph 4:3-6
