BUT GOD
With the mass shootings in Texas and Ohio this past week, and the rampant manifestation of demonic insanity flooding the airwaves, it’s refreshing to hear some good news! I know you will be moved and inspired, as I was, when watching the transforming love of God change these two young peoples’ lives from an alphabet lifestyle to holiness. The reality is we are all sinners and are doomed to death and destruction But For God!
Romans 3:23-24 says, “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.”
In the first video, my favorite take away is at minute 3:45 when Emily says, “It’s not gay to straight. It’s lost to saved. God doesn’t call us to heterosexuality, but to holiness.” Wow! I love her mature insight! The video closes with this wonderful verse. “For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus.” 2 Timothy 1:9
In the second video, David Arthur has a great come back line when somebody says, “I’m born this way." at minute 29:14. He says, “You don’t have to argue with them about how they were born or how they weren’t born. [They say] ‘I was born that way.’ But Jesus says be born again!” And, isn’t that the truth for all of us? We all need to be born again and die to self on a daily basis.
Towards the end of the video, David highlights Revelation 12:11 which says, “And they have defeated him [the devil] by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die.” So, be encouraged today that whatever area of your life you feel trapped in, know that you have victory because of the blood of the Lamb and by the word of your mouth. And remember, the rainbow is God’s promise of love. Let’s reinstate it’s true meaning that the alphabet community has twisted and hijacked.
Thank you Jesus that your blood defeats the devil in my life. May my words testify of your victorious power, that I may be blessed to be a blessing In Jesus Name!
