On Fire For God

Last Sabbath my family and I watched the video below for our home church time and I wanted to share it with you because we were very blessed. It was recorded Dec. 1, 2018 at the Covenant Christian Community Church located in The Dalles, OR, which is about 85 miles east of Portland, OR. There are many videos of Hogan on YouTube, but this is a recent one. I appreciate his great stories and also his perspective that even though you don’t always get what you want, Jesus is King!

David Hogan grew up in the swamps of Louisiana (a southern state in the USA). God called him to be a missionary in Mexico, and he and his family have lived there for about four decades. He has personally raised close to 40 people from the dead, including his grandson Corbin Hogan, and there have been close to 600 people raised from the dead throughout his ministry network. In addition, David and his wife Debbie have seen all types of amazing miracles including diseases healed, casting out of demons, limbs grow, and thousands of people who have come to know that Jesus is King throughout their world wide ministry.

Even though I do not completely understand yet the purpose of speaking in tongues and being “slain in the spirit”, I do believe that the Holy Spirit flows through this man. John the Baptist did say in Matthew 3:11 that “He [Jesus] will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.” Hogan’s life is a testament to this verse and to God’s faithfulness and blessing. Matthew 7:20 says, “Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.” I hope and pray that as you watch the video below, you will be inspired to be a fruit bearing tree for God as well.
