Human Biometric Handchipping
A few days ago my friend emailed me saying how he is looking forward to doing the Autophagy Fasting, which I talked about in my last blog (click here). He happens to be visiting India right now. In his email, he commented how crazy it is over there due to the great increase in biometrics. He said that he had heard stories of people starving because they couldn’t be recognized by the chip readers. In addition, because of government involvement, they couldn’t get government benefits either.
His experience reminded me of Rev. 13:17, “He required everyone—small and great, rich and poor, free and slave—to be given a mark on the right hand or on the forehead. 17 And no one could buy or sell anything without that mark, which was either the name of the beast or the number representing his name. 18 Wisdom is needed here. Let the one with understanding solve the meaning of the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. His number is 666.”
Don’t misunderstand, I don’t think that the chip is the “mark of the beast”. I remember as a kid how the adults would discuss at length about Social Security Numbers, or other technological devices of the day being the “mark of the beast”. They were not. Having said that, there could be some type of a connection. I don’t know. What I do know is that the chip implant is way beyond my comfort zone. Yes, it probably will make buying, selling, and tracking easier, but how much privacy do you give up for that convenience?
Not knowing much about human biometric micro-chipping, I searched the web to learn a bit more. I was somewhat surprised to read an article in Planet Biometrics, posted a few months ago, about a Wisconsin company that is experimenting with their employees (read more). I didn’t realize that hand chipping had become that mainstream. Would you get a chip planted in your hand for your job? It feels way too invasive for my liking!
The good news is that God is aware of all the technologies. Nothing surprises him, nor is He caught off guard. He never says, “Oh my goodness, Gabriel, I didn’t think of that!!” Rather, He says, “I KNOW…..” Jer 29:10-14
10 This is what the Lord says: “You will be in Babylon for seventy years. But then I will come and do for you all the good things I have promised, and I will bring you home again. 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 In those days when you pray, I will listen. 13 If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. 14 I will be found by you,” says the Lord. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.”
Praise the Lord for His goodness! Do not fear the technologies or events of the day. His plans for you are good and not disastrous. The question is, “Are you listening to His directions?” At the beginning of this new year, may you seek first the kingdom of heaven. If you do, you will have a great year and be blessed to be a blessing In Jesus Name!
