"The Veil" Book Review
On the back cover of the book, Blake Healy wrote, "This is the story of how I learned to use the gift I was born with and how I discovered that every single thing I saw pointed back to the absolute and perfect love that God has for his children."
The Veil is a collection of stories during Blake's life that ranged from terrifying nightmares to being overwhelmed with the love of God in another dimension. It wasn't always wonderful, but as Blake matured in his gifting, he learned how to use his gift for his own blessing and for the blessing of others. Click here to read portions of the book on Amazon. My daughter Heather is a seer and found this book helpful in explaining what she sees. For example, Blake used the words "raw identity". This helped Heather to describe what she sees over people as how God sees them. God looks at people not as they are, wounded, sinful, fearful etc., but as who they are in Him, their true or "raw identity".
She also liked the term "spiritual ecosystem". This helped her articulate all the things she sees in a room or environment, versus trying to describe one thing here or there. The spirit realm is amazing and she felt affirmed by Blake's story and insights.
For me, I found Blake's book to be informative, insightful, and it helped me grow in my understanding of this gift. In addition, I was happy for Heather to broaden her understanding of her gift as well.
Each seer book I read helps me know how to better interpret what Heather is seeing. The seer gift is another heavenly language that we all can learn and discern, even if we don't "see" in the same way. God has many forms of communicating with us and the seer gift, described in this book, is one more way to develop a relationship with God, and learn how His kingdom operates..
