Update: National Day of Prayer May 3, 2018
My husband Bill and I went down to the Kalamazoo, MI City Hall and prayed with around 100 other people from the area. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that it was the 67th National Day of Prayer City of Kalamazoo Observance, hosted by the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission. As mentioned before in a prior post, the theme was Unity based on Eph 4:3, "Making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace."
Pastors from area churches prayed for the Government and Public Officials, for the Nation and Military, for the Schools, Families and Youth, for Jobs and Fighting Crime, for Racial Unity and Peace, for the Unified Body of Christ, and for the Unborn. We also sang a couple of worship songs. We only prayed for about 45 minutes, but we were able to meet other believers and it was good to pray together. I know God was smiling and happy about it!
Also, I wanted to share the video below of around 1000+ people all praying together at the same time out loud on social media (start at minute 25:45 to hear the prayers). People from all over the world were praying together. I thought it was awesome to join in, even though it was recorded early. Dr. Lance Wallnau leads the prayers for America, President Trump, and other Nations. It's the new high tech prayer meeting! Very cool!
May our nation be healed by the prayers of God's people, so that we all can be blessed and be a blessing In Jesus Name!
