Praying For Muslims During Ramadan 2018

This year Ramadan started last Wed, May 16, 2018.  Ramadan is an Islamic holy month of strict fasting from sunrise to sunset to purify oneself, grow closer to God, and help others less fortunate.  These are all admirable goals, but as you will see in the video below, Islam is a religion of no hope and violent death to those who oppose it.

My neighbors of 21 years are also Muslim, but have not yet received the love of Jesus.  They have been generous and kind, but I've also experienced first hand the hopelessness of particularly the women in the family.  Our prayer is that they will receive the love of Jesus through us, and find hope as they develop their own relationship with Him.

The good news is that when this former Imam called on Jesus at the point of death, God kept His promise found in the book of Isaiah.  "He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless."  Isaiah 40:29,   He is a good, good, God !  He will do the same for you today!

Please join me in praying for my neighbors and other Muslims this month who are hopeless without Jesus.  Pray that God's peace, joy, and love will fill their souls with the light of The Truth of Jesus Christ.

"I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit."  Romans 15:13

May our prayers for Muslims pull down the strongholds of hopelessness so they can be filled with the hope of Jesus, and be blessed to be a blessing In Jesus Name!
