The Tastes of Fall

Every Fall I love to eat Honeycrisp Apples, cider and donuts, homemade applesauce, and apple desserts.  Living in Southwest Michigan, we're spoiled with amazing fruits and vegetables throughout the growing season.  But when October rolls around, there are certain foods that beg to be tasted and enjoyed once again.

Our favorite cider is from Hildebrand Farms in Berrien Springs, MI.  We also buy a half bushel of a variety of their apples to make applesauce.  Soooo delicious!

Our favorite donuts are from Gull Meadow Farms in Richland, MI.  They have several varieties, but my favorite are the apple glazed.  If you go, pick up their packet of mulled spices for spiced cider.  It will make a wonderful hot drink for the holidays.

Most importantly as you enjoy the tastes of the Fall season, may you thank God for the privilege of being able to taste delicious foods.  May you be blessed as you eat the fruit He created for your pleasure, and may you share that blessing to others In Jesus Name!
