The "Mind-Boggling Beauty of Nature"

Breaking Christian News just posted an article highlighting the beauty found in nature. I’ve been looking to post a blog about nature and this article fit the bill. I’m always awed by the patterns and designs of God’s handiwork. Surprisingly, according to the article, even Darwinists are changing their minds about evolutionary theories.

"I'm glad some Darwinists are recognizing that survival alone can't account for the art gallery we call the natural world, but is it really a better option to look at that same art gallery and conclude that the paintings produced themselves?" -John Stonestreet and G. Shane Morris (Read the article here.)

Evolution never made sense to me. How ludicrous to think that the stunning beauty of a peacock, as one example in thousands, could just evolve from an amoeba to a breathtaking work of art. Psalm 104:24 makes so much more sense. “O Lord, what a variety of things you have made! In wisdom you have made them all. The earth is full of your creatures.”

Furthermore, I love the summary at the end of the article. “They should consider that the mind-boggling beauty we see around us was always intended for our eyes—designed by a master Engineer and Artist, to display His genius and glory through the language of beauty—in a language best understood not by peahens, but by people.”

How awesome is God to have created such splendor for our enjoyment. Have you taken the time lately to really look at the intricacies of nature? It’s winter where I live, so if the weather is bad where you are, spend some time looking at nature on the internet.

It’s fascinating to explore the varied and intricate designs, whether it’s online, through a microscope, a telescope, a pair of binoculars, or simply walking in it. Let the garden of God restore your soul. Besides, God really enjoys it when we are inspired by His handiwork.

May God’s artwork exhibited in nature’s gallery get your creative juices flowing, so that you will be blessed and be a blessing In Jesus Name!
