One Race Movement

"In 1915, the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) burnt its first cross in public on top of Stone Mountain, and nearly 55 years ago to the date of OneRace at Stone Mountain, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., delivered his famous "I Have a Dream" speech in which he dreamt freedom would one day ring from Stone Mountain."

With all the divisiveness we see in the media and on college campuses, I'm happy to share some good news of unity.  This past Sabbath, August 25, 2018, OneRace met at Stone Mountain to pray for reconciliation and spiritual unity.  Breaking Christian News reported this event.  Click here to read the report.  Click here for the OneRace website.

Acts 17:26 says, "And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings."  So, according to scripture, there is actually only one race, the human race. 

How did it get so twisted?  As Ephesians 6:12 says, "For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places."   Satan's kingdom twists the thoughts of people to act out his evil purposes.

However, do you want to have victory over the darkness?  Come together and pray for the light!  Praise God for His mighty power of mercy, justice, forgiveness, and peace.  He is the answer to bring unity.

As you join others in the Body of Christ to pray for the unifying light of the Holy Spirit like the mission of OneRace, may you find that victory and peace, so that you will be blessed to be a blessing In Jesus Name!
